I finally found my jar of india ink and decided to play with it again. I really like working with greyscale. Anyway, this Maka in her Demon Hunter form. I thought the black dress was pretty cool. I originally disliked the shape of the scythe Soul turned into for it, but it's starting to grow on me a little now. It's just really different from his normal one, I guess.
Obviously I made the scythe blade smaller than it should be, since it wouldn't fit on the page otherwise (and it looks a little unwieldy like that anyway). I didn't cut my paper small enough to fit in the scanner, so a little of the top and bottom got cut off, but it's not too bad. Maka and Soul Eater © Atsushi Ohkubo Art by =MilesTailsPrower-007 |

I find it easiest to think of it like watercolor paint. It has the same consistency and works similarly.
