Thank you to the people who gave me pointers on the sketch version of this! I really appreciate it! Also, thank you ~chemb0t for suggesting what to do with Trisha's arms.

Several people said I should add tears, but this is supposed to be grief over their mother and losing their home and stuff. In the third volume of the manga, Al said that he and Ed hadn't totally gotten over it, and still sometimes feel "overwhelming sadness". He also thinks they'd feel better if they just had a good cry. But of course, Al can't cry, and I doubt Ed would without him. I guess it just wouldn't seem fair for Ed to be able to "get over" something, and just leave Al behind.

But uh, yeah. Sorry for the URL in the dorky spot. I drew this so I could flail in brotherliness. The blue ethereal thing is their mother, and the line I wrote on it is from the song "Brothers". That's the first line of Al's part of the song. Coloring shiny armor is actually fun, even though it's basically all just one color. And of course, Trisha is watching over her boys.

Oh! And I'm sorry I keep uploading serious FullMetal fanart. It's just that it happens to be colored, and I like submitting colored stuff to my gallery. I have something very dorky in mind for Halloween, though, trust me. XD
